Q: Who is Bigfoot & Pickle Face™?
A:Bigfoot & Pickle Face™ was created out of the need to have fun clear rubber stamp kits for people to use in their crafts for kids. The images are fun and child-like, but it was important that they be big enough for the image to be colored in and to create a story if needed by smaller hands. We start with involving kids in the design process and the focus was to have fun creating the images that interest them the most. The goal is to start with a kit that includes one stamp set, acrylic blocks and ink stamp pad; and then add additional rubber stamp designs within that theme to complete the kit. We carry ink stamp pads in 6 colors and additional acrylic blocks if you don’t want to keep using the same block over again. There is always a need to find easy and efficient ways to store children’s art supplies, so the plastic storage case is a great add-on because it is not only durable but you can also see what is inside because it is clear plastic. Our goal is to have “fun” while we interact with our children and allow them to stimulate their creative side with the use of our clear rubber stamp designs and in the end they can make cool crafts for kids. We don’t guarantee your child will be a Picasso of clear rubber stamping or a scrapbooking genius, but they will have lots of fun using our rubber stamps.
Q: What are Clear Photopolymer Stamps?
A: The rubber stamps we sell at Bigfoot & Pickle Face™ are made of clear photopolymer and are designed to resist yellowing. All clear stamps are made in the USA and with proper care should last a long time. Clear rubber stamps are great to use because you peel off the stamp from the plastic acetate backing, place it on an acrylic block, ink the clear rubber stamp, make your image and re-use the acrylic block for other rubber stamps. The clear acrylic block makes it easy to see where you are stamping. Clear rubber stamps are easy to store because they do not require much space since you store it back on the clear plastic acetate backing of the original packaging.
Q: How do I care of my Clear Rubber Stamps?
A: After stamping your image and when you are done using your clear rubber stamps, clean with soap and water or baby wipes; let them air dry and place them back on the clear plastic backing. Keep the clear stamps out of direct sunlight. If the rubber stamp gets dirty and will not stick to the acrylic block, then wash the clear stamp with soap and water. Never use any heavy solvents to clean your clear polymer stamp.
Q: Will my Clear Stamps yellow over time?
A: The clear photopolymer stamps are designed to resist yellowing. Keep your rubber stamps stored in a place where they are away from the direct sunlight.
Q: Are the Ink Stamp Pads Child Safe?
A: Our child safe ink pads are made in the USA and are nontoxic and conform to ASTM-D4236. The ink stamp pads are durable and specially formulated to wash off skin and most clothing. We offer 6 different colors in the child safe dye stamp pads. If you need additional colors we do not offer please email me at info@bigfootandpicklefacecreations.com and we may consider adding it to our product line. As our goal is to target crafts for kids, we do not offer accessories used in scrapbooking projects but the rubber stamps and acrylic blocks.
Q: Will the Ink stain my Clear rubber Stamp?
A: With the dye ink pads it is natural to have some staining of the clear rubber stamp if the clear rubber stamp is not cleaned immediately or if the stamp dye is a darker shade. Don’t worry; any stains will not affect the performance or image of the clear rubber stamp.
Q: Do I need to purchase additional acrylic blocks for each Clear Stamp image?
A: No you do not need to purchase additional acrylic blocks unless you need a smaller or larger size then what you already own. The clear stamp is removed from the acrylic block and you can re-use that acrylic block for other images. Many of our customers like to purchase an individual block for each image because they don’t have the time and patience to remove the clear stamp and re-use the block; with kids it is easier to have all the images already on their own acrylic block.
Q: Will I be charged sales tax?
A: Shipments within Wisconsin are subjected to 5.1% sales tax. Shipments to other US destinations are tax free. We do not ship internationally.
Q: How fast will my order ship?
A: We strive to ship orders the same day, but due to time zone differences some orders may be packaged and shipped the following day.
Q: Can I pick up my product at Bigfoot & Pickle Face™ location?
A: No. We do not have a retail facility and will ship all orders.
Q: Why is the company name and phone number not listed anywhere - how can I contact the company?
A: As we do not have a retail store front and are a family owned business our current location does not have the ability to have visitors, and thus we do not publish our address on our website. Since we are a small company, the best way to contact us is by email to info@bigfootandpicklefacecreations.com for an immediate response to your question. Q: If I provide personal private information do you sell it or provide it to a third party?
A: We do not sell any personal or private information you provide the company, we value your privacy.
Q: Will you add my photo's to your gallery?
A: We welcome ideas and photo's for our gallery. We will add your photo[s] of your crafting project as long as the design has our clear stamp images clearly represented. Kid crafting projects completed are even better. We will give you credit by listing your name and link to your website/blog. Contact us for more information.
